Flood Alert – Kemps Creek Memorial Park
Due to intensive rainfall impacting Kemps Creek Memorial we are issuing a safety warning:
• The dam has broken the banks resulting in localised flooding impacting the main roadway through the cemetery.
• We have been advised that road closures are in place Fifteenth Avenue to west of Western Road due to extensive flooding and further closures are anticipated.
• For your safety, and the safety of others please avoid the area and postpone any unnecessary visitation.
We are very closely monitoring the situation and continually accessing safety risks.
In the event that the flood risk continues to elevate, we may be placed in a position where we have to postpone funeral services until the level of risk decreases.
We will continue to provide regular updates as they come to hand.
